Nestled in the Ozark Mountains, Flat Hollow Farms is owned by Dr. Jett Hitt and his wife Carrie Byron. The farm is about 450 acres, not including rental property. It is the winter residence for the horses of Yellowstone Wilderness Outfitters, a summertime horseback business based in Yellowstone National Park. For more information on YWO, see the Yellowstone page.

Jett and Carrie live together at Flat Hollow Farms with Cinch, their Australian Shepherd, and fifty head of horses and mules. Additionally, the farm is home to a herd of seventy-five  bison. During the winter months, Jett writes symphonic music in his studio, and Carrie trains reining horses. They were married in a vision quest circle on horseback in Yellowstone, pictured here just because, as weddings go, it was a little unusual.
